Translate Video Subtitles into 80 Languages with AI

By the ClipTitle team · Updated October 3, 2026

Quick answer

In ClipTitle, generate your video's captions, open the Translate panel and pick a language: the captions are rewritten in any of 80 languages with the same timing. Export the translated video as an MP4 or the subtitles as an SRT. It costs 1 AI minute per 5 minutes of video, and switching back to a saved language is free.

Translated subtitles let one video reach viewers in other countries. ClipTitle translates the captions of your video with AI, keeps every caption at the moment it is spoken, and lets you switch between languages whenever you like.

How to translate subtitles in a video

  1. Import your video into ClipTitle, open it and click Generate captions.
  2. Open the Translate panel.
  3. Search for a language (for example English, Español, Hindi, العربية or 日本語) and choose it.
  4. The captions are rewritten in that language with the same timing. Check them and adjust anything you like.
  5. Export with Export ▸ Video with captions (MP4), or Subtitles (SRT) for a subtitle file.
  6. Translate into more languages the same way. Each one is saved with the video.

Tips for better translations

  • Fix names and brand words in the original first: the translation follows the original.
  • Translate from the original language each time, not from another translation, for the best quality. ClipTitle does this for you.
  • Ask a native speaker to read important videos before publishing.

Frequently asked questions

How much does translating subtitles cost?

1 AI minute for every 5 minutes of video, at least 1. A one-minute Reel costs 1 minute; a 20-minute video costs 4. Failed translations are never charged.

Do I pay again to switch back to a language I already have?

No. Each translation is saved with the video, so switching between the original and any language you translated before is free.

Does the timing stay the same?

Yes. Each translated caption keeps the timing of the original, so it still appears when it is spoken.

Can I translate an SRT file I got somewhere else?

ClipTitle translates captions it generated for your video. Open the video in ClipTitle, generate the captions, then translate them. You can then export the translation as an SRT.

What does English letters (Romanized) mean?

The same words written in Latin letters, for example Hindi or Arabic speech written so that people who can't read the script can still read it. It is available alongside the 80 translation languages.

Can I translate on the Free plan?

Yes. Translations use your free AI minutes, and the exports have no watermark.
